Department of Obst. & Gynaecology

The department is having 80 (Eighty) no. of beds in Obstetrics, 40 (Forty) + service beds & 40 (Forty) no of beds in Gynaecology. It has a dedicated C.S. O.T., Labour Room, Gynaecological Major O.T. & Minor O.T, F.P.OT. The OPD - both Antenatal & Gynaecology OPD are open on all week days, including speciality clinics like ANC, PNC, PPP, Cancer Clinic, Infertility Clinic, Endocrine Clinic, Menopause Clinic. The department provides special services like recanalization of fallopian tube, Artificial insemination, Tubectomy program, Pap smear, Laparoscopy, Hysteroscopy, Colposcopy& Others. It is well equipped with functioning Laparoscope, CTG, USG, Hysteroscope, Colposcope, Andrology Unit. The department also has Intensive care facilities like ICU, HDU, NICU, PICU, and SNCU.

ACADEMICS:- It is a Post Graduate department and the M.S.  courses are recognized by MCI. The annual intake is 7 (seven) in MS courses per year. The department has audio-visually equipped seminar room, demonstration room and departmental museum cum Library. Research papers are published by faculty members regularly. Seminars, CME & workshops are also organized by the department
